What we hold

If you register for the school: your email address, and which page you came from. That is the whole of it. We do not ask for your name, and there is nowhere to put one.

We also record which version of the notice above the button you were shown, and when. That identifies a paragraph of ours, not you — we keep it because a school has to be able to show what it told people before they signed up, and because we would rather be able to prove it than ask you to take our word.

What you type into the three boxes on the front page never leaves your browser. It is not sent to us and we could not read it if we wanted to.

It is kept on your own device, so it is still there when you come back. That is storage in your browser, not an account with us — anybody who uses that computer could open the page and read it. There is a one-click Erase on the front page for exactly that reason, and it is worth using if the machine is not only yours.

Why it is so little

Because of what people need to say here. It is almost always about family — a signature somebody should not have made, a lapse, a person not spoken to since the funeral. Nobody says those things with their name attached, so we built it so they do not have to.

What we do with it

Send you the school, one step at a time. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anybody for marketing. If we ever use a service to send the email, they send it and nothing else.

Stopping, and being forgotten

One click in any email and we stop, everywhere. Ask us to delete you and we will. We keep a record that an address asked to stop, so that a later import cannot start it up again — that record exists to protect you from us.

If we ever need more

Paid work on a real matter needs real details, and we will ask for those separately, say exactly why, and keep the result rather than the documents wherever we can. Nothing collected for that is added to this list without this page changing first.
